DAYLE STANLEY - A CHILD OF HOLLOW TIMES

Dayle is a Joan Baez type from Boston .
She topped Broadside magazine's best of local list the year this record came out.
She would be merely a typical strident folkie,
except that Dayle decided to insert a freaky cross between a yodel
and a rolled 'r' in half her songs.
This makes her the female answer to Robbie Basho
(who is definitely one of the hottest howlers),
except that she only has two albums (this is the first one from 1963).listen "CROW ON THE CRADLE"

Track List
A1.A CHILD OF HOLLOW TIMES
A2.MOTHERLESS CHILD
A3.THE FOUNDLINGS

B4.THE JOLLY SENATOR

PENDULUM - S/T

Formed in 1961 by "Bob".
"Ric" is the second and last remaining member of the original Pendulum.
The others two members are "Gene" and "Mike".
This is the only info that I have from the back cover.
Some consider that the date of released is early 70's (1973).

I'm not sure. I believe the original date of released is after 1975 probably at 1977
(but the recordings maybe exist from early 70's).
This is a rare lp at these days (Baldwin Records Cs-7948).
It's a very good rock lp ...highlights the covers of Uriah Heep's Easy Livin
and Jethro Tull's Locomotive Breath.
"Give me Good Lovin" in totally other dimention, excellent the original "Journey To Nowhere"

track list
a1.Black Cloud
a2.Come On Up
a3.Reflections
a4.Give Me Good Lovin
a5.Locomotive Breath
b1.Journey To Nowhere
b2.Easy Livin'
b3.Pieces Of April
b4.Can't Get Enough Of Your Love

As JOSEPH released the amazing "Stoned Age Man" Lp
back in 1970 on Scepter and this is his first Lp.
Long was a very, very gifted guitarist!
At 1978 Crazy Cajun Records released two lp's as Joey Long.
You must listen these records 2 times , as diferent music styles
exist together without any connection between the songs. From early rock & roll songs (like "Treasure Of Your Love","You Can't Give Back The Love") among blues rock outfits and some true "JOSEPH"style tracks as "Jezabell Gables", "Funky Junky Woman", "Cajun Country" etc.
